Medical schools with a distance education option are a great choice for people who want to get their degree but still want to stay at home. Some people who take advantage of the medical schools with a distance education option, however are doing so because it is the only way they can do it. There are advantages and disadvantages to these types of special medical schools, or more so getting your degree this way, not so much the curriculum.
Some advantages of medical schools with a distance education option are that you can stay at home using the online learning curriculum, even work full time, and still go to school. In many ways this is a great way to go because it frees up a lot of your time. These types of schools often have a great plan for giving you the lessons that work a lot like how you’d do it in a traditional school setting. One example is using the Internet for the classroom. You can actually watch real taped classes and follow along in the books. This way you get the same education and training as those who go to the school itself (physically) will get.

Best Medical Schools
Every institute feels that it deserves to be counted among the best. A single factor cannot be the sole judge. Considering two factors, namely research and primary care makes it fairer.
Courses with stress on primary care have more patient contact and programs. Students are encouraged to provide voluntary health cover to destitute populations. This prepares the medical student to be a good doctor. However, if the medical student wants to further a vocation in academics or research, he should look into courses that specialize in the relevant field.

How to Make More Money Than Your Doctor – Lessons From Beyond Medical School
What I’m going to tell you now is something that I wish someone would have told me 12 years ago during my third year of medical school. I’d probably be a mega-millionaire now but I suppose I wouldn’t have gained the experiences that have led me toward my path of true financial freedom.
I’ll start by telling you a little bit about me. I’ve always been torn between my passion toward medicine and my passion toward the arts. This actually drove me to take a year leave of absence after finishing my second year of medical school. I went back to college and took every non-science class I could: drama, jazz music, creative writing, and the great fictional works of the 20th century. I even joined the university’s women’s lacrosse team. I then “studied” abroad in Europe-basically a pseudonym for party and travel as much as you can for five months before heading back to medical school.
